How a pod visit works
Meridian Pod Care combines a neighborhood Smart Pod with a licensed clinician review, so you can be seen the same day without a waiting room.
1. Check in
Walk up to a Smart Pod, tap the tablet, or open your Spruce or SMS link. Existing practice members can link their record in one tap; new guests can start the visit first and create an account after care. We confirm your state and collect consent before anything clinical begins.
2. Take your vitals in the pod
The pod tablet walks you through temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height and weight with plain-language prompts. If your clinician orders an oxygen reading, the pod's pulse oximeter is right there. You can also complete an assessment from your phone.
3. Answer the symptom check
A guided questionnaire asks what's bothering you, how long it's been going on, and how much it's affecting your day. Emergency red flags stop the flow immediately and direct you to 911. Before you submit, a quick safety check confirms your allergies and current medications.
4. Show us on camera
While you check in you can take a photo of what's bothering you, record a short video of a cough or breathing, and leave a voice note in your own words. Everything is attached to your visit for the clinician — you can skip anything that doesn't apply, and pick up where you left off if you get interrupted.
5. Get a same-day plan
A licensed clinician reviews your answers, vitals, photos and recordings, adjusts the recommended tests and treatment, and publishes a plan you can read, download, or discuss by message.

Our clinicians are licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana. We confirm your location before an assessment and let you know right away if we can't see you yet.
